so today it’s been kinda rainy here in FL... pretty cloudy and gross out. It just rained and now it’s chilly. Do tortoises know when the weather is crappy? My tort was out earlier when the sun was out and I soaked him and then brought him in. He ate a bunch while he was outside but for now he’s just been sleeping under his light. Should I be worried?? I’m usually at work during the day so I guess I don’t really see him sleeping often. I guess this is normal???...

Yes...animals/reptiles have an innate feel for changes in the day/night cycle the 'weather' and everything else. You are off today so you get to see this response first hand...

my youngsters sleep during the day also. They have an active period, eat then go to their warm areas and sleep. So I think yours is ok.
