Hey guys. I received buy new male leopard tortoise yesterday. I have been doing visual examinations and I noticed his rear toes seem to be curled in. He works fine kind of steps a little high compared to my sulcatas. He is shy so the picture might not be able to tell a lot. How was going to see what you guys thought. It seems that his bottom tell him now is pressed against the bottom of his foot. He is 9 inches long from the top of his carapace. And weighs 5 pounds 1 ounce

Sorry for the misses spelling. I used the voice text on my HTC to try to save time.

From what I can see here, all looks normal??? The feet run very close to the shell/touch the shell when the limbs are tucked up under/into the shell....so that is normal as well.....

Some torts have a "spring" in their step...each is very different in their gait....
