Concerning handling...

What is the best method to give them best care in cases where a veterinary visit is not necessary? For example if they need eye drops or treat a small wound on a limb (Minor problems ) etc..?

Keep them on their back?

It's okay to flip them for quick procedures, but I am more likely to balance them on a can or overturned bowl that they can't kick off of and "high center" them upright so I can poke and prod at them.
