Please could anyone help in identifying my tortoise.

She is a female Hermanns - but what sub species.

If we had the photo showing its head it would have been better, but in my view it is a Testudo Hermani Hermani. I am not 100 % sure but If it is so, it is rarer than the other Hermani types. I have a male one and I am desperately trying to find a female Hermani for mating. But unfortunately in our country I couldn't find. How old is yours and in which country do you live?

Your female is a Dalmation Hermanns, Testudo hermanni hercegovinensis
