Tortoise Killed in Hurricane

A few months ago during Hurricane Hermine, I had to evacuate and could only bring so much supplies. I was unable to bring my tortoise, so when I returned to my proper, this is what I saw.

Did you actually find his body? If not, let's hope he was just picked up and deposited somewhere and he's still alive. They are very resilient.
