Tortoise like Shiny Things?

Is anyone else's tortoise attracted to shiny things? I'm discovering toto really likes to try to bite shiny objects.. like this morning he was biting my gold bracelet. also noticed he goes for toes when glossy nail polish is involved haha. goes for shiny buckles and things too..

My Russian doesn't seem to be so attracted to shiny things, but my leopard is and to white things too

Instead of shinny things. They are more attracted to colors.

My Sulcata will chase and bite Radited Tortoise's yellow strips. My Hermanns they attract red ball pepper like crazy.

I think all Tortoise love the food in red color.

Nothing as yummy to a tort as painted wiggling toes (even toes laying in wait---lol)...I think shiny is universal in creating interest.....

I know my boxie is, she is so freakin' persnickety about her food.. I battle day in and day out to get her to eat the stuff that is good for her and all she wants is strawberries, tomatoes and red bell peppers.
