tortoise scales

My tortoises scales on his right front foot are falling off or are missing. can someone tell me whats happening

is your tortoises kept with another tortoise? whats the substrate? how often do you soak?

No, woodchips (zoomed) and coconut shaving blocks & rocks, and once to twice a week for 20 mins or so, . Excuse the blur but he doesnt sit still
