I've been thinking that it could be nice to have some greenery in my tortoise table, so I'm looking into getting some plants. The thing is I have zero experience with ANY plants and and completely unsure of how to keep it alive. I have heard spider plants are good for tortoise tables, so I think I would like to get one of these. I just want to know about how keep it healthy. It would go in an indoor enclosure, so how do I ensure that it gets the sunlight it needs? Is leaving the curtains open enough or...? Also, how often do I need to water it?
Sorry, I'm rambling. Any advice would be super appreciated!

It should do fine with the light you have for your tortoise. As for watering, only you can know that. Feel the dirt, if it's too dry then give it water.

So, do you think I should put it directly under the UVB strip? Or I could just put it in a corner without any light piece over it? I have heard not to put them under the basking area or ceramic heat bulb.

I would try it off to the side of the UV. It should get enough not having to be right under it. If it seems to not be doing real good, then move it closer.
But no, don't put it under any heat. That will likely kill if fairly quick.
