Tortoise Table Tips...

Hi!

I'm now the owner of two Greek Tortoises - Charles and Camilla....

They are one year old and living in Cornwall, UK.
This is my current Tortoise Table setup; any tips for making it more interesting for them?

I have a 150W heat lamp, will this be too hot for them? Temperature in the hideaway is around 21c while under the heat lamp on the slate basking area is around 45c. Does this sound acceptable?

They are my first Tortoises, any help/advice would be welcome!

Hi Jack:

Welcome to the Tortoise Forum!!

Nice enclosure, however, I think you need to make the sides a bit taller. If you can't do that, then you can cap them, that is, place a board horizontally across the top all the way around. That keeps them from being able to climb out.
