Hi
Can anyone help. We have two 15 month old Spur Thigh tortoise's but since around June/July they have gone off of their food and seem to want to sleep most of the day. We are giving them fresh food, supplement powder and bath them every day. They have all the right equipment like tortoise table, uv/heat lamp.
We have just moved them from my son's room as I wasn't sure if they were too near the tv and playstation. I even tried bathing them in baby food as I read on the forum.
If anyone can help that would be great.

Many Thanks Janet

Can you post a photo of the 2 of them in their enclosure for everyone to see? That might help someone determine if there is something off with their housing, although what you've described sounds OK so far. Actually, are you talking about African Spur Thighs (sulcata) or Spur-Thigh Greek tortoises. The former is not a hibernating species, but the latter is, so that might have something to do with it... Pictures would be great, though.

More detail about your temps. Hot side, cool side, night temps humdity level substrate all would be helpful. Also, are they both not eating or one. There may be some bullying, have you seen any of that? As much info as possible would help us to help you.

Hi please see attched photo's of out tortoise's and tortoise table.
We use ready grass as bedding, the temperature in the cool side is around 75 but we do not have a guide for the heated side. We have a 150 watt heat/uv bulb. Sally & Tilly are Mediteranian Spur Thigh Tortoise's.
They have both not been eating much since around June time and there doesn't appear to be any bullying.
The larger one weighs 2oz and the smaller one weighs 1oz.
If anyone can give any advise that would be really great.

Many thanks Janet
