These are one if my favorite trachemys, beautiful and small. The southern Brazilian slider is one of those turtles you just can't help but stare at, they have beautiful eyes. I have 6.5, all settled in now and hopefully ready to give me a pile of hatchlings next year. Thanks for looking.

Gerard,
One of my favorites too. Plus they can take a bit of cool weather as well.
Beautiful shots.

Terrific man. Such an awesome representative of what the Trachemys genus has to offer. Can't wait to see the hatchlings you get from them.

They're awesome! I was going to take pics of each one while I was giving them their check ups but he was the only one without fuzz. I hatched out the first Trachemys from Eleuthera this weekend, too. I'm going to take the hatchling to Daytona and, hopefully, see if Dennis will identify the sub species.

Oh sweet! Nothin like talkin to him about Trachemys! I find that a conversation with anyone regarding a genus in which they have a species or subspecies named after them, is one of those moments to bring you listening A game. Man I wish I could get to Daytona..

From what I've heard Dennis won't be there. He's boycotting Wayne's World.

That is depressing, I will have to email him. Never the less, there's a couple people there I also want to have a look. Are you going, Carl?
