So the tortoise gained 61 g. in just over 2.5 months. That is a gain of 12% which seems somewhat significant, but not overly so, considering that spring is coming and the tortoise's appetite may be picking up.

Are you using the same scale now as was being used back in February? If not, that is another reason why the weights may seem to have changed quite a bit. One scale may be more accurate and another one less accurate.

I am using the same scale, just a cheap food scale from Lidl.

Wanted to add that yes he has had quite the appetite but I expect it to change a little as I try to transition him back to weeds after feeding grocery store greens all winter.
