Hi, I am new here! I have a Greek tortoise and have had him for 20+ years now, but still feel like a newbie at times.
It's finally spring in Norway and I wanted to upgrade his outdoor enclosure for summer time.
On the spot where I plan to put the new enclosure, there is an old dead tree root.
Would it be best to remove the entire root? I mean, insects and mushroom may populate it. But the tortoise loves to climb, so it might be some entertainment for him.
I attached some pictures of the root, dunno how the quality turns out though.
Thanks for any help!
