hey, I have 2 softshell turtles and 1 tortoise. I quite don't know their gender and I cannot go to the vet cause of my busy schedule. can anyone tell me how to identify either it is a girl or a boy
We need pictures of their tails to identify the gender. In general males have thicker, longer tails with a cloaca located further down the tail. Females have shorter, stumpier tails with a cloaca located directly under the carapace.
I'm not fond of the excuse ". . . because of my busy schedule." Animals that we have taken in to care for should always come first. If you don't have the time for proper care, then the turtles probably should find a new home. However, sexing them has nothing to do with going to the vet. I only take my animals to the vet if I'm unable to provide the health care they need.
If you post pictures of the underside of their shells including the tails, we can tell you their sex.
