Turtle shell uses

Well, I don't want to offend anyone who are turtle lovers but I was wondering if anyone wanted to donate shells of turtles who have passed on. I know several girls who will be doing a Coming of Age Ceremony in our American Indian culture. I am the mother of one and a mentor to another. We all help the girls with their give aways in honor of elders and other dignitaries. I have made several bags and rattles in the past as gifts. We don't kill turtles for this purpose but give"new life" to those that have passed on by using them in ceremonies and dances that honor others. Just pm me if so. Thanks.

I'm not sure where you are from but I have found some along the creek in West Virginia when I lived there from turtles, though they were pretty bleached out from the sun. Good luck!

Sorry I don't have any empty shells, but if I did I would love to send them to you. You do wonderful work and it would be such a great way of honoring the spirit of the turtles after they have died.
