Two level enclosure advice

Hello everyone,

My Russian tortoise is currently housed in two kiddie pools on top of each other. I want to expand his space with a larger two story enclosure with a foot print of around 6 feet by 2 and a half feet. I think I am going to use E-PVC. I have read a lot of threads about similar builds but I have almost not construction experience. I would like advice on how to construct the enclosure and on how to install proper lighting.

I’d probably add a support beam yeah, helps with any potential sag on the boards

Hello again how thick of PVC would you all use? I was thinking 1/2 an inch.
