Diane, I buy Wellness Dog food. I get the Venison and sweet potato, or the whitefish and sweet potato but I also add my own sweet potato. You can add any kind of pellet turtle food too. I like the turtle brittle and the mazuri, but there are others. Each week I put different greens, fruit and veggies, but I always put the sweet potato and carrot. I started getting the Wellness, because my dogs couldn't eat any of the others.

I might try that for my boxies too.....i heard the stinky stuff they like...but if they dont like it at least I have a dog, she would love it

Jo...I only have one Three Toed. I posted her/his picture in another thread, with pictures of everyone up from hibernation now.

Thank you!! I'm going to buy some of the whitefish sweet potato -- she'll love it. Herbie just found and ate two huge worms in her pen!! I mean big! Wow- she has such an appetite. Box turtles are really into eating!!

Your turtles look absolutely beautiful Terry. I just love when you post pictures of your gardens. You put so much into your turtles I just love to see when people do that for their animals. I'm glad to see that two came up safely, can't wait to see when the others do the same. Keep us posted. :)

Inside, or outside?? my little ones stayed inside this winter-- but have been outside now for a little while, and yesterday the temps were near 90 degrees here. Tomorrow night it's expected to go down to 46 degrees! Should I bring them back inside?? Poor kids are so confused this year :(

Mine are outside turtles, so they won't come in. I have some babies, between almost two years and some 9 months that stay in. When it gets really warm out I'll put them in a christmas tree storage bin for the Summer, but they'll come in if it gets too cold.
