It was a beautiful day in Dallas and I got home and found WalkingRock enjoying the Sun and the warmth of the day. Then I thought how much Eros and Gaia would enjoys a little walk around the yard and retrieved them for a romp.... here's how it turned out...

While exploring, they found WalkingRock's pile of food

and on the otherside of that pile they saw this mountain....

...and of course when kids see a mountain... they must climb it!

...but then the mountain moved!

...and they had to find a better way to ride the mountain! Eros had to hide his face!

At the end of the day, the Mountain went about its own way...

Its always amazing to see the size difference. Even though the species are different and even the biggest leopard tortoises wont get as large as a sulcata. It always wows me to see. Thanks for sharing.

Cathie had quite a bit of nastalgia when we got Eros and Gaia! She keeps remembering when WalkingRock was that size and she gets the biggest smile on her face!

I love your story line. They are cute. Will you try and keep them together, can you remind us of the age and size difference between WR and the babies... Thanks

WalkingRock will always have the run of the backyard and seperate from the others. And I hope to keep Eros and Gaia together for as long as they will have it.

WalkingRock is 12 years old, 24" and 80+ lbs
Gaia is @7 months, 2.5 in and 41 grams
Eros is @8 weeks, 2 in and @35 grams
