Do me a favor...skip the plate. He's gorgeous and isn't going anywhere. If he gets out someone's apt to keep him...if they can pick him up. As a former power lifter, lifting 100# is child's play! Lifting a 100# tortoise, even for a lifter, is not the same as lifting balanced weight! Oh yea...then there's the issue of carrying him...without tweaking your back! Food for thought!
