hello im in the front range co area, and soon will be putting together a rather large space for perhaps a sulcata tortoise. I have long admired these creatures and would love to have one of any age or size, however I am not willing to support the large breeders. I would instead like to adopt one that maybe someone has gotten their hands full with or maybe has too many? I would greatly appreciate a nudge in the right direction.

Find a local tortoise rescue, there used to be one in Fort Collins and another in Denver, but that was a number of years ago. With a little research I'm sure you can find one...
