I just moved all of my leopards into a warm room in the basement. Now, if I want to check on them, I have to go to the basement. I would like to set up a couple of cameras there so that I can check on them remotely. What's the best way to do this?. I think that they're all over the flipping over stage, but it would be nice to just hit a button, and reassure myself that all is well, without going down there 25 times a day. What would be the best way to do this? Thanks in advance...

I monitor my tortoise through webcam while I'm at work. If anything went wrong I could rush home, so it gives me piece of mind to stay longer.

My method requires two computers, but is cheap.

My laptop remains at home near my enclosure, I mounted a $30 webcam and a $10 USB thermometer in the enclosure.

I installed a free program so that I can remotely connect into my laptop from an outside computer with a password. When I am remotely connected to my home laptop, I can see the webcam and thermometer. My webcam even has a motion detection setting, so I can view videos of when he was moving and gauge how much he ate/slept.
