whats the weird white stuff (looks like egg white in warm water)

when I soak Romeo , he always poops, then a weird looking (kinda thick) white stuff appears in water,,, what is it?

Sounds like a urate. What is it like out of the water?

A picutre would be. Ice to be sure of what it is. However, they most likely are urates, which is normal as long as they are not gritty, more like tooth paste and not a lot all the time.

Now I'm NOT saying that this is what it is, but sometimes when there's a lot of mucous with the pee or poop it's because the tortoise has flagellates and needs to be de-wormed.
