my tortoise has not been eating for a week and I noticed her shell is turning darker. This has happened in a matter of two days, why? I posted a before and after picture. Her temps are 95 in the day and 71 at night. Also humanity is about 60%. She's 4 months, hasent eaten in a week and I'm hoping she's not dying.

I forgot to mention she's now tucked into her shell as you can see in the picture above and has not come out in 24 hours.

71 is way too low. Get temps to 80 and humidity up to 80%. Soak her twice a day in warm water for 20-30 minutes, keeping the water warm. A basking spot of 95-100 is also needed.

She is alive in her shell, right?

In the first picture I can see on the left there is some darkening of the shell, but I can't see it in the 2nd picture. Is that what you meant by turning darker?

I hope she's alive, is she??

She hasent moved since last night. She's all the way tucked in. I've given her two warm baths today and she won't come out. Her shell has also darkened about two days ago.

I did take her to a vet and they gave her antibiotics. They said we are close to losing her last night around 11pm. When I woke up, I think she had passed but I'm not 100% sure. I thought she was dead last night but the vet said she was still with us.

I'm so sorry to hear that. But maybe she is still alive. Sometimes they go throught a coma like state. Don't give up. Take her to a vet again if nothing changes.
