That looks like the top of celery stalks to me.
Did you pull the root up?
That looks like either a carrot top or parsley to me. Both are edible for tortoises.

I plucked it at the woods it does look like carrot top but I very much doubt it is? - maybe tomorrow I’ll dig one up - thanks again
