The only time I have ever had a white surface mold in my tank/closed chamber was when mazuri was left over and not removed from the rocks and dirt.

Could there have been a food there? Or something that was in the dirt? I'd suggest removing the mold and clump of dirt around it. Do this as you see it and maybe it wont last too long.

Maybe others will have more ideas or input for you.

I only use coconut coir. As with Team Gomberg, the only time I ever had mold was on left over food that I had missed. I did get mold in the very beginning when I used spaghnum moss.

Is it normal to still be able to slightly push in his shell on bottom being only 7 weeks?

Mine is over a year old and there is still a tiny bit of give, so don't worry too much. I also agree with everybody, little pieces of Mazuri will mold if left too long.
