He needs some warm basking heat to get himself going, if temperature is too low he will be slow, sleepy and lazy.
Mine would stay burrowed in his bed if i left him cold... but within 20 mins of turning my heat lamp and uv tube on he's sat under it warming himself up ready to go and find his breakfast. I've got an arcadia pro t5 12% uv tube kit and a 150w daylight basking lamp.
(Basking spot 35 degrees C, warm side of enclosure is 30 degrees C, cool side is 23 degrees C)

Your tortoise REALLY needs a uv light and a basking lamp to function normally... I'm pretty sure you were told this already yesterday Mario.

My uv kit cost £56, my heat lamp setup cost £35.... a sick tortoise is going to cost more than that at a vet dude!

No stay away from these in my opinion... and 3.0 is nowhere near strong enough, you need a 10.0 at least.

I don't know how to include links at the moment but hang on and somebody will point you in the right direction.

These are similar to our arcadia pro t5's by the look of it... but I'm in UK so we have totally different gear on out Amazon.

As I said, somebody with plenty of experience will be along and point you in the right direction to buy the right lights.

You still haven't corrected your profile to tell us which part of the world you are in so that you can get the correct advice based on your climate. You may not need a uvb source but unless we know where you live we can't tell.

Your enclosure needs changes - the substrate should not be sand as I've explained in your other thread where I've linked a caresheet and Yvonne has shown you a great example of what his living conditions should be.

Many tort problems are because something about the way we care for them is wrong, so please read the caresheet and follow all advice your given to make the changes your tort needs and hopefully he should thrive.
