Why is my tort acting weird?

My tort hasn’t been very active inside, but outside he runs like crazy. He got bladder surgery almost 3 weeks ago, and before he slowed down from the stone, he used to run around his enclosure even indoors. What is causing this?

He’s a Greek tort. Basking 95-100, ambient 75-80 cool side 70-75.

Things I’ve changed: switched from top soil to cypress mulch & coco fiber. I also switched his MVB to a flood lamp, and a seperate UVB strip light. He’s also been burrowing more in his hide (never does that outside)

Anyone have any ideas?

It will take him months to fully recover from surgery. A picture of the enclosure might help us see something.

You mentioned a flood lamp and a UV tube. What about ambient lighting indoors?
