Contrary to all internet polls and lists on choosing the right species I am convinced that a sulcata is absolutely the best pet possible. Specifically the one sent to me on a truck from New Jersey 2 1/2 years ago.
Today Stump didn’t really want to go out because it was cloudy. I set him out anyway.
He did his usual thing despite the weather and then headed to the back yard for our walk when he chose to go back to the cornfield quite a distance away. It drizzled rain for a while on the way there. After bringing him back it started raining.
If we all could learn to be genuinely excited to find a place we can go explore only to find poop and it makes us happy then comes back home and starts flipping when it starts really raining…
