Winter "SNOW WHITE" Hypo 2014

Pearl Snowway is really not white anymore. They seem to get more of a yellow tint as they mature.

Well look at that....she certainly has turned yellow!
They all change ( even non Hypo's) as they mature. Artificial and natural sunlight has a HUGE impact on the Hue/color out come of the tortoises shell regardless of species/type. Wanna compare sun tans ? .....:p

what about het for hypos? i don't even wanna know how many cherry eggs you gotten lol does the cove ever become crowded?
Well David I would say about half dozen......and Cherries I stop counting after 50~;)

And yes the babies do keep us busy. I actually have had two torts that nested in the last couple days.
Not bad for December eh ? Funny as I don't recall reading about RF's laying in winter time in all the Hokey Pokey books and Literature out there .....:p
Even more of a gas to find out the Authors' of those works are writing about Red's while their 4 feet under snow!
This trend and mis info happens in the "garden world " too.......Plumeria blooming 2 weeks before Xmas ? :rolleyes:;)
