Wondering if our mert is getting enough to eat?

Our desert tortoise mert hasnt been eating much of the plants we put in his enclosure. He seems so picky. He loves the dandelions and yellow roses i can sneak in a blue hibiscus with it but he wont eat them on his own. Wont touch the plants or weeds thats there.

If anyone can tell me what there tortoise favorites are then i will try planting those. I just dont think hes eating enough.

Should i make him a salad of some store bought stuff as well? What do your tortoise eat daily? Any help would be great!

Sorry for going OT but a blue hibiscus? I have been searching for one of those forever where did you get it?
