Just got the female today.. wattaface!

I believe the male from '09 hatchling likes her -

He is a nice looking male.. see that big tail?! -

Notice the difference in the size of her tail! ( same size/age ) -

She has a beautiful carapace!

Now......... look at this face TerryO - -

Imagine what their babies will look like............

Beautiful animals. I have always liked the look of diamondback terrapins and wanted a pair as well. I have yet to pull the trigger. All these new posts have me thinking I will do it sooner than later. Thanks for sharing. Great head shots by the way!

Male from July '10 - before new bigger tub - I picked him as a hatchling because of the 'grey' patch instead of the squiggly lines [ yes I do like the squiggly lines too ] -

Maybe everybody is tired of looking at my diamondbacks...
