I found a place that has the tortoises I want, and they are on sale for 25% off! I can actually a trio for a little more than what I could get a pair for at normal price!

So why is this bad?

The sale ends on the 7th!!! And I won't have my tax return until 9 days later

I don't do plastic Yvonne. I have never ever had a credit card and I don't want one. Although admittedly this is one instance where kinda I wish I DID have one....

Len I'll ask about the deposit. The worst they can do is tell me know and then I am not any worse off than I am now.

Not terribly. I have seen them range from $150-250ish. I was just irritated because from that particular seller, two would be $299, three would be $548, and 25% off of that ends up being quite a lot. Oh well

The biggest obstacle that I have found is that, as with a lot of species, females seem to be quite a bit harder to find.
