Your title suggests you believe it may be "cats eat weed" did you mean "cats ear"?.
It's NOT cats ear. I'm unable to ID this weed and recommend not risking feeding it until someone is able to ID it as a safe plant.

Haha yes cats ear weed my bad damn autocorrect on the iPhone and I didn’t feed it to them and thank you for the quick response. I live in California so I’m not sure if cats ear down here looks different.

That looks like a False Aralia plant (ScheffleraElegantissima). TortoiseTrust.org has it listed as non-toxic to tortoises. But don't take my word for it as it's very hard to tell just from a picture. Rule of thumb: if you don't know what it is, don't make it accessible.

Wow, it is always surprising what gets a "like" and what does not.
FWIW: my Hermann's eat this weed

Interesting! Even when it’s grown as large as that? I imagine mine would eat it if ithere wasn’t much else to choose from. We’ve never let one grow that large but she’s never eaten one down to the ground either, as she does with most other weeds.

Can we at least agree they are pretty ugly when gone to seed? :)

1- I can't see the photo for some reason.
2- looks like a prickly lettuce (ok to feed in moderation)
3-oxalis/ wood sorrel (do not feed)
4-hard to tell for me. It looks like it has been frost burned and mowed. may be a type of thistle.
5-cats ear (yummy tort food)
