Oh one of my favourites. Enjoy!Roquefort
This one is made from sheep's milk and matured in caves in the Massif Centrale in France. Each cave has it's own unique bacteria so they taste slightly different depending on which cave was used. Societé, this one, is one of the biggest. They have 3 caves... the big one that produces this cheese and two others. One of their cheeses is only available in France and the third only if you go to their cave in Roquefort.Roquefort
Hmmmmm!!!! Very interesting!!!Seriously. The ash is a very thin layer and adds to the flavour of the cheese.
Sleep well Lena!I’m off to bed

We are waiting ...... You should not cuddle with Zak all the time while we are waiting for the beginning of TORTOISE !
Even straw is endible. In Germany we have a white bread ( toast ) that contains a little bit straw.... ( Shaking my head )Yes! It's all edible apart from the straw
Upper Carboniferous (Pennsylvanian) Coal measures, i reckon. Is that grey log a fossil cheese???
The ash really adds to it.That is an absolutely delicious goat's milk cheese. It's formed around a stalk of straw and coated in ash.
The other two are Brie and Roquefort (Societé before any nerd asks which cave )
Okay, okay, it takes time!( SIGH ) ...waiting...waiting...waiting...
A bit ."...COATED WITH ASH." ??!?!?!?!? Doesn't it taste gritty and burnt?????
Yup.You’re not eating the ash, right? Right??
Oh, what a pity ( not to remove them .... )Okay, okay!
While you're waiting, here is a picture of Zak's ankle.
One for the ladies!

Unfortunately his jeans were far too tight to reveal any more and I was not about to ask him to remove his trousers !
