My 12 yr old female seems to be walking on her front legs and not her toes. She is slowing down for hibernation at this time and is getting soaked regularly. She has been raised on grasses, dandelion and other weeds, endive, mustard greens, hibiscus and roses, occasional shredded carrot and small amounts of kale.
Eyes and nose is clear, shell is smooth, hard and beautiful. Her brother and her have sufficient sun and heat.
All seems well except for us noticing her walking on her front legs and not her toes, almost like she's lazy. Not sure when it started but noticed it today.
Any thoughts? Am I just being a worry wart mom?

How often do you soak them? Do they live together as a pair?

They're soaked every 1 to 2x's a week with fresh water everyday.
They are separated at all times.

What do you use for UVB? When was the bulb last replaced?

What are the four important temperatures in the enclosure? Warm side, cool side, directly under the basking lamp and overnight minimum?

Recap: they're 12 yrs old and are outside. I've had them since hatchlings and they're well cared for.
Only concern is her walking.

It's hard for me to picture. Are you saying that she knuckles under at the ankle?
