Yes, they look like and clean with no infection. Once the raw, redness has resolved you can put him back in his regular tank.
It's been four weeks, so he'll be over the initial shock, which is as dangerous as the infection risk.Ok thank you. Do they look like they are healing well as of now though?
Thank you. I appreciate itIt's been four weeks, so he'll be over the initial shock, which is as dangerous as the infection risk.
You are obviously doing the right thing, he is eating and healing.
He should be over the worst, carry on as you are and he should be fine.
He is doing fine from what I can see. Eating like always and active as everHow's your tort today?
Hope to hear he is now better.

Indeed! Poor JeromeThat, definitely is good news.
Great job on your tortoise care! From what I can tell, you are a very good tort parent.Hey everyone! Quick update on Jerome. He's doing very very well. I'll post a pic of him from November 30th and a picture of him as of today January 22nd.
First pic is November
And second is January.
And you can see really gritty urates in the first picture and as of today I don't see them that much at all but when I do see them they stent gritty so that's a good thing. And you can see that he has grown a somewhat decent amount. I don't exactly know how old he is but he is about 180 to 190 grams. I will post pictures of the healed up wounds soonView attachment 228412View attachment 228414
