That is still from the top looking down. We need a side view, looking at the tortoise from the side, not the top. In profile.

I know I just needed to get a good photo she wasn’t out for long. How can I stop it fr9m getting worse? It does look like there is some pyramiddal growth yes, It is not too bad yet but it will continue if you dont introduce more humidity and regular soaking.
Also, it is a pretty bad idea to let the tort run around on the floor.
To get a profile shot you need the camera on the same level as the tortoise. Not above the tortoise looking down at it.I know I just needed to get a good photo she wasn’t out for long. How can I stop it fr9m getting worse?
Thanks for the l8nk 8 have the right lights because you helped me get them on the forum and my substrate is eco earth. What 8 a hum8d hide and how can 8 make it. Also since I have a open chicken wire top my dad is going to get me some plexiglass to cover it up. Will that work to keep humidity in? Also is this a big enough cage it’s 4 by 2 and charlie is around 4 and a half inches long head to toe.To get a profile shot you need the camera on the same level as the tortoise. Stop the pyramiding by upping the humidity and making sure you heat lamps aren't too close or too hot, or the wrong type. Also have a humid hide and the right kind of deep damp substrate. At the size that yours already is, it will be tough to stop it.
All in here.
The Best Way To Raise Any Temperate Species Of Tortoise
I chose the title of this care sheet very carefully. Are there other ways to raise babies and care for adults? Yes. Yes there are, but those ways are not as good. when will i have o switch to that size? also i have a biult in hide in my torts cage should i take it out to give her some more room to walk? and snice nicer weather is comeing where i am can i let my tort eat some of grass? and my final question is how to make a humid hide.Plexi will help with the humidity.
You need a much larger enclosure. 2x4' is a good size for a baby. You need something around 4x8'. Might as well jump to that size.

Should the hole be big enough for my tortoise to get into? Also could my tortoise at least have to option to eat the grass and any weeds? Or should I just let her on the Gravel? You need that size now.
Torts need a hide. I wouldn't take it out.
You can put the tortoise in its outdoor enclosure anytime the weather is 65 and sunny or warmer, but this species usually doesn't eat grass.
Make a humid hide with by turning an opaque plastic hide up side down, cutting out a small door hole, and wetting the substrate under it.
If the hole is too small for your tortoise to get into, what good would it do to provide a hide? Yes make it big enough for your tortoise, but not much bigger. The bigger the hole, the more humidity you lose from it.Should the hole be big enough for my tortoise to get into? Also could my tortoise at least have to option to eat the grass and any weeds? Grass is fine, they just aren't grass eaters. Its good for them to walk on and hang out in. The tortoise just probably won't eat it. Weeds are great food, as long as they are all identified and known to be safe.
Gravel is not safe. That's an impaction hazard.
That's not good either. Over time, that sort of abrasion will wear through there feet and one day you'll come outside to find little bloody foot prints all over.okat thnaks
