Are you giving vitamins and minerals? Sometimes they'll ingest small pebbles to try to make up for a deficiency in their diet...

In the US they use a product called Miner All to try to provide any minerals and nutrients that are missing which is when torts tend to do this.
I don't know if it's available in the UK but there may be something similar if you Google it.
It may be worth putting a cuttlefish bone in his enclosure so he can nibble on that if he wants. The sort used for birds but with all cage clips removed. They tend to be bigger if you can buy them from a pet shop that sells them unpacked.
Do you use any calcium powder or something like Nutrabal ? (Only a small pinch of both are needed weekly - too much can do more harm than good).
Meanwhile remove the stones because they could cause problems.

There is a Miner All available on a few websites, but post a picture of it and check to make sure it's the same as US product.

I was just told to give her calcium
There is a good care sheet on this site for Sulcatas. Please read it, and he will probably not need any more supplements after a while on the correct diet. Don't let him eat stones.

This behavior is usually caused by one of two things:
1. A diet of mostly grocery store greens, or...
2. Too much calcium supplementation.

Sooooooo... What do you feed your tortoise and how often do you use the calcium supplement?

Here is the correct care info:
