Hello, I don't know where to ask for my account deletion, so sorry if I do it in the wrong place.
I would like my account deleted please.

Won't really need it, my first ever tort died a week ago.Sorry you want to leave us but even if you don't use TFO regularly you may find you need advice some time in the future if you have a sick or injured tort or just a general question so keep us in your favourites list - just in case.
Good luck
So very sorry to hear that do you know why?Won't really need it, my first ever tort died a week ago.
The company who sold it to us sold it with a virus. It wasn't even a year old, so it died. Sadly, it isn't illegal to sell untested tort here.So very sorry to hear that do you know why?
If you decided to give another a home you know where we are and can help you every step of the way. Take care
So very sorry. Do you know what it had? Many in the US, mostly sulcata are dying from a disease called Austwickia. It is being found in other species too. The tortois gets yellow bumps, skin peels, toe nails fall off. Does it sound anything like what yours had?The company who sold it to us sold it with a virus. It wasn't even a year old, so it died. I do not know, she just said it is common for torts to get viruses when being transported to Italy. So very sorry. Do you know what it had? I'm so very sorry. You must have been heartbroken - a little tortoise is such a wonderful little creature - you can't help loving it. You seem like the sort of person who would be a very good carer of another, healthier baby tortoise - please think again about getting another one, as I'm sure, with the help of people in the forum, next time it would be different. The company who sold it to us sold it with a virus. Yes, very. It was my first ever animal, and I am Asperger, so it was also something that helped me a lot. And thank you for the support.I'm so very sorry. I understand entirely how much it meant to you. We have had our Hermans tortoise for 21 years, and every day I think about how grateful I am to him for being there . Do consider getting another little one - but consult with people who are able to advise you here first.Yes, very. Ed, I think one can log out, if I'm not mistaken. We don't really delete accounts. But if you stop visiting the site, it will become dormant and eventually will show inactive.
I'm sorry that you want to leave. We have so few members from your part of the world.
Yes people can always log out. That doesn't really do anything different though that I know of.Ed, I think one can log out, if I'm not mistaken.

Really if you enjoyed having a tortoise you probably need one in your life. I know I do. But I don't think receiving a sick tortoise is just an Italian problem because it happens every where. There are good breeders though. It would be so nice to have you here with a healthy little tortoise asking questions. If you really wanted one don't give up.Thank you everyone for the advice and support.
