I just weighed my leopards yesterday. So the first weight was 7/1 and the second was 7/22. So in three weeks:

1/ 1625g - 1865g
2/ 662g - 724g
3/1030g - 1130g
4/1550g - 1695g
5/ 2250g - 2590g
6/540g - 634g
7/438g - 548g

AS they grow, of course, their weekly gains have increased. But even my slowest growers have had tremendous gains. The smallest one gained a quarter of its weight. Amazing.

That is amazing. How are you achieving these numbers?

I don't know, last year, they gained less in the summer. They're out all day. I feed Mazuri when they first go out, and then they're on their own.

Do you moisten the Mazuri...or offer it dry at this point? Also...are you including other ingredients and or supplements?

Yes, I always wet the mazuri. They're not very interested in it otherwise. The only other supplement is calcium carbonate.

Do you soak the mazuri until it is mushy and runny or slightly pliable-like playdough?

Not runny, about the consistency of raw ground beef. Dry in a bowl, just cover with hot water.
