Remember what I said, you did her good, I agree that maybe it wasn't meant to be but at least she had you and your family so she died but happy and loved.. Very few people would go through what you did for her. time will come for another one and when it does, your new baby will thrive from the wisdom and love you have gained..

I am so very sorry for your loss.

I almost responded to one of your posts a few days ago and said to prepare yourself for the worst, but I ended up deleting it and not posting it. You and your family did a fantastic job. There was nothing more that could have been done, and I mean that 100%. Sometimes they are just so far gone that even though they rally a bit at the end, the damage has been done. It was not your fault.

I hope that you will find it in your heart to give tortoise keeping another chance. Maybe out there somewhere is some little Sully just waiting to be loved by you.
