What size stock tank are you thinking about getting? Almost all stock tanks have a ledge near the top that all you have to do is cut a board that runs across it and sits on the ledge and all you need is to make a ramp of your choice connected with it. Example on a metal stock tank. Plastic stock tanks have better ledge area too.

Remember to account for freezing when you fill the stock tanks, or they might spring a leak, if it cracks from expanding frozen water.

Thats actually something you dont have to worry about. They were designed to take a beating even in the winter months. Even the metal ones. So you can have happy frozen turtles. ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1420452545.267925.jpg
