What size stock tank are you thinking about getting? Almost all stock tanks have a ledge near the top that all you have to do is cut a board that runs across it and sits on the ledge and all you need is to make a ramp of your choice connected with it. Example on a metal stock tank. Plastic stock tanks have better ledge area too.

Remember to account for freezing when you fill the stock tanks, or they might spring a leak, if it cracks from expanding frozen water.

Thats actually something you dont have to worry about. They were designed to take a beating even in the winter months. Even the metal ones. So you can have happy frozen turtles.

Good thing, it get cold in the winter... and while there might not be water, it's good to know they're sturdy
