First post in the forum and I hope I did it correctly.
I have recently adopted a Sulcata Tortoise and his top layer shell does not look correct. Great news is no Pyramiding and turtle looks healthy besides this white build up on his shell. I inspected closely (scraped some off with my nail) to insure it was not calcium build up from hard water, perhaps previous owners had a sprinkler system. I am hoping to get some information on this condition. Tortoise has lived in South Florida and I as well live in South Florida.
