I wanted something inspirational (and appropriate 
)to stare at in my office when my eyes get tired of the computer screen. I asked my cousin, who is a VERY talented artist, to paint me a tortoise picture. When going through ideas of what I wanted, I thought of ALDABRAMAN's aldabras, and how awesome it must be to look out a window and watch them all day. So I asked him and he was ok with the idea of me using some of his photos. After cropping a couple with my mad paint.net skills this is what I came up with:
And, this is what my cousin did:
Pretty cool huh? It's very detailed, and very naturalish. It's definitely something I can stare at for the next 36 years till retirement, or until my tortoises make me a millionaire. Either way, I'm very happy with how it turned out. I wanted to thank Greg for allowing me to use his pictures for this, and to thank him for sharing what he does with all of us. It really is inspirational!
