Wow, they all look good to me. I would use them.
Oops, I also wanted too add, I use a hay pellet. It's either orchard or alfalfa, sorry can't remember. It's made for horses though.
Yes I also seen that one to . I am going to plant the seeds . I will also add the pellets to my torts diet .
I found this at tractor supply . I was thinking it will be good for you guys with snow on the ground .
I was waiting for you Yvonne . I know you love tractor supply . I just gave you a reason to go . Ha ha These are used for planting in deer plots but are also good for torts . Just be careful some of these types of seeds have fertilizer in them . The one in my pictures is fertilizer free . Yes I am going to soak the feed for my little sulcata Dozer but for Harry I was just going to feed dry .
These look good to me. I have fed my sulcata several types of hay pellets in the past. Easier to store than a bale of hay and for small tortoises it is already cut very fine. Sometimes I had problems with the pellets not re-hydrating completely. After soaking them there would still be a hardness to the pellets that I felt was not good for my tortoise. When I soaked them long enough for them to completely hydrate (no hard spots) they were waterlogged and I ended up squeezing them out before mixing with the other foods. Later I learned that if I just let the water evaporate for several hours I had a nice pile of hay to feed my tortoise.
Well I'm glad you think it ok Mr . Tom . I was waiting to see what you where thinking . My torts love this stuff . The best part they come in small pellets so its easy for babies to eat.
So you are purposely wanting to plant a mix that has the above weed/grass in it? I am freaking out here...lol...this is an invasive weed here that consumes all other desirable plants here....this is a weed that I spend hours of back breaking hours pulling out by the root....these barb like tops get caught in the torts skin/eyes and such here....
