Took in two turtles today from a family. They said they were both yellow belly, but im certain the 1 on the right is a cooter.
Am I right?

Right! My assumptions were correct. The males looks like peninsula cooter.
The one on right is definitely not a yellow belly. Can't see any carapace markings, but from head and neck it does look like a peninsula cooter.
