I noticed recently that the cool end of my tort's enclosure was a little too dark, so I decided to add a fluorescent strip to that side to help with ambient lighting.
I happened to have an extra bulb from an aquarium, and I just wanted some opinions on whether it's an ok bulb to use in my enclosure. It's just a simple 18" 15W T8, and I've read some places that it runs at 8,000K but other say around 5,500K.
This is the bulb I'm using here.
I'm mostly wondering if the light spectrum is good? Any help is (as always) appreciated!
