I have a tegu just like that one! though my Cleo is just a baby (not even 5 mos yet) and is a girl, so she won't get big jowls like that boy.

Surprised me how comfortable that guy was with feeding his tegu while his tort nudged him. I've had LARGE lizards and I really wouldn't had fed them while another animal was runing around. I've only watched monitors eat right in front of me, not a tegu no but, they are fast and usually dont let go of their pray till it's dead. That was just to tempting. It didn't worry you even slightly?

Oh and I only found that post cuz you had me looking at that one with severe MBD, Meg90, I then clicked on another one... they are just so cute.

They really are awesome animals. My problem with the video was that the tort was on a table. He could easily have fallen off. But I do loves me some tegus! I can't wait till my baby is big like that!

I think that tegu is an awesome looking animal, personally I think they only have that lizard for shock value, I could be wrong since I obviously don't know the people in the video. I hate to sound self-righteous but I would never keep a tortoise(is it a hermans?) on a table liike that and somewhere I eat also. I kept on expecting to see the tegu flip the tortoise off the table or something like that. pretty tegu though.
