fruit should be limited 1 or 2 times a month depending on the species of tortoise

He's a marinated and this is first time this year he's had any now and again last year I gave him strawberries as he loves them and the tops but I don't give often but I was reading in the wild they would occasional come across fallen fruit and would eat it so sparingly it isn't a problem and a nice change and treat ?

Hey! What species is your tortoise?
Some kind of spur thigh. She used to over winter in a garage insulated box, but last 2 years have been 4 months in fridge. Since she is 7 last he run is too small and so she gets to roaming the downstairs. Today I found her snuggling the log burner and ravenous because of it.

Spur thighs aren't a fruit eating species, so I recommend you limit or completely eliminate the apple from her diet.
