Hey guys just bought what was labeled as dandelion greens at my local health food store, but upon a bit of thinking I remembered that dandelion greens usually have more serrated edges? Am I wrong? Is this just a different species? Thanks in advance ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1497396840.755955.jpg

I have only seen two varieties. The one pictured and another that is red stemmed.

Those are commonly called "Italian Dandelion". They are just as good as regular dandelion as a part of a varied diet.

It's actually chicory, but the stores call it dandelion because that's the name most folks recognise. It's really the same thing - same family.

Yup. Green dendelion/chicory. I buy that weekly. For some reason my little guys likes the green over the red by far.
